WELCOME

Our Mission is as follows:

The goal of the Association is to further the mission of Woodberry Forest School ("Woodberry" or "the School") through the efforts of alumni, parents, and friends located in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia and Maryland region. To that end, the Association shall sponsor social gatherings of its members and the School's faculty and students, assist the School's admissions department in recruiting new students, assist the School in development of financial and other resources, and further the purposes of the Woodberry Forest Alumni Association itself.

WOODBERRY SPORTS CAMP SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER

Please join us on March 18, 2010 at George in Georgetown, for a happy hour hosted by the WFS Washington, DC Alumni Association.  In an effort to raise money to sponsor young men in the Washington, DC area for Woodberry’s sports camps, we ask that everyone attending make a small contribution towards the effort.

Other WFS alumni associations have had great success in sponsoring campers in recent years, including Richmond’s alumni association.  It is our goal to start our own tradition here in Washington.

Date: March 18, 2010
Time: 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Venue: George
Address: 3251 Prospect Street, NW
                  Washington, DC 20007
Note: We recognize that this is the first night of the NCAA basketball tournament, and have confirmed that the venue has plenty of TVs to enjoy the games.
